Sunday Service: every week at 10.00am at our church building, at 18 Kinloch Street, Carnoustie.
People start to gather soon after 9.30am and there is an informal prayer meeting in the GP room (just inside the main entrance and turn right) which runs from around 9.40-9.55am whilst others just meet and chat. You will find us to be a small but friendly and enthusiastic group of people. We do have one family (four children) that worships with us regularly so if you do have children they will be welcome (and not alone).

The service will start at 10:00am and will normally last around 1 hour. We have a mix of contemporary and traditional songs/hymns intended to help old, young, and new praise God in spirit and truth– something for everyone. We use projector, keyboards, guitars, percussion and organ, with occasional videos – all intended to enhance our worship and teaching. Children usually leave half way through and go to their own teaching sessions whilst adults remain in church for more worship, prayers, and their own teaching.

After the service, there will be an occasion for refreshments on the third Sunday of the month, but there is always opportunity for conversation after the service..

Monthly Praise Evening: first Sunday of the month at 6.15pm in the church hall.

Thursday Fellowship Group (known as the TFG!): every week at 7.15pm in the church hall. This has been called Bible Study and it is that.. but so much more. We praise God, we pray, we chat together about our own issues or issues in our community or the world around us and we study scripture in a focussed and practical way. Rob is keen that Christians or enquirers should not just study the Bible in a strictly academic manner, but in an applied manner – considering ‘what does the Bible say about ourselves, our culture and the fullness of the Christian life we are called too?’

Monday afternoons in the Church Hall: Poppins café is a gathering for elderly, perhaps lonely folk, perhaps with mild dementia, and their carers. This is a time of singing well known old songs, tea, coffee, chat and fun. If you are interested to know more, please send us an email or phone Rob and Gwen Barlow on 01241 852709

Wednesday mornings: fortnightly in the church hall Coffee and Chat is an opportunity to do just that! Check the events section of our homepage for dates. Why not come along and meet some new people?
